After a month-long hiatus due to the damage caused by Yolanda (Haiyan), I took a short trip to the northern part of Luzon to see for myself the 70-meter Bangui windmills in Ilocos. The long road trip up north was all worth it. Good for the eyes & good for the environment, too. 🙂
Just as I love taking pictures of the sun, I love taking pictures of the moon. It is mystical, alluring, and secretive. And when dark clouds gather around it, it looks like a vortex ready to suck the life out of the world.
This isn’t one of the sharpest images I’ve taken but I guess the noise only highlights the eerie-ness of the picture. Now I’m imagining witches in brooms and the blackest of bats flying…
For this challenge, we want to keep it simple: share a photograph with a prominent color (or assortment of colors) that reveals more about you. It could be a symbolic, meaningful shade; a color that expresses how you currently feel; or a combination of colors that excites you and tells a visual story.
I’m a fan of dark colors especially the classic black-and-white duo. Lately though, I’ve been obsessed with makeup (as to why, I really don’t know) so I’ve been experimenting with both light colors and dark colors for eyeshadows and blushes.
Feminine is not a word I can associate myself with. Then again, perhaps this is another side of me emerging. 🙂
I must have posted one too many photos of sunsets or seas on this blog. But this is the most perfect snapshot of what infinite looks like — the sun and the sea stretching out light and water to forever. No beginning and no end.
